JUTE – The eco-friendly ‘golden fibre’ is finally finding its place in the limelight with the growing popularity of both traditional and diversified jute goods.
Earlier, jute was just associated with the jute sacks used for packaging, mainly in the sugar, cement and other industries. But with diversification into designer bags, wall-hangings, jute paintings and textiles, jute is rapidly emerging as a reusable alternative for the environment conscious citizens.
With several countries banning use of polythene bags as a measure to protect the environment, jute has got a new lease of life in the carrier segment alone in the form of various jute made bags like party bags, laundry bags, rucksacks, gunny bags, totes, shopping bags, wine bags etc.

These companies in the jute production sector introduce new ideas in dyeing, bleaching and production of jute products.
Bangladeshi jute industries is engaged in the export and manufacture of wide range of jute bag and jute products like jute sack, jute yarn/twines, jute sacking and packaging bag, geo textiles, food grade jute products, bag for home and industrial use and hessian cloth/bags. These jute industries are in this field for a long time and have earned a very good name in the production of quality jute products.
